Humans created the computer. It is one of the greatest man’s achievements in technology. This is invented because we want to make things easier for us. As you can see our world today is now in the computer level. Almost everything that surrounds us is computer operated. The progression of technology helped us in our daily lives. It is evident in health care institutions, business establishments, and many more. However, technology like the automated system is not fully reliable and that is what experts are still working on today. As time progresses, our technology will keep on improving. There are automated objects used in our society now a day. Let us take the automated teller machine as an example. The first cash dispenser was not in a form of automated system but in a mechanical machine. This was first found in New York and was built by Luther George Simjian. However, the machine was not accepted by costumers because of some deficiencies and it is somehow unreliable. Automated teller machine was created by De La Rue and was placed somewhere in London. This machine really benefits humans by saving time and effort.

We can also find automated systems in automobiles. As you can see, humans now a day used cars that are in automatic transmission. This really contributes to the safety of the driver and its passenger. It is because there is no need to think of what gear level is to be used. The driver will just simply place his or her foot on the accelerator and the break pedal. This allows the driver to focus on the road which is a good thing to prevent car accident. There are really a lot of things that are in automated system. Another type of which is the automated vendor machine. This is commonly called as the “vendo-machine”. It is really convenient to both the costumer and to the business owner. This is probably the outlook of how vendors in the future will look like. This is very helpful to those individuals who are always in a hurry. It is found in different areas like the malls, park, schools, minimarts, and even in bus stations or at the side walks. This type of machine can serve you by just pressing a button. However, there are still vendor machines that don’t accept bills that are crumpled up. Product’s security is still a great problem when it comes to this type of business. This machine can be an easy target for thieves and robbers. Experts are still trying to create a solution for such problem.

Wherever you are in the city there is always an automated system. This is also common in banks and airport terminals. It is used as a security system. It is made in a form of surveillance cameras. It can automatically capture human activity. Different types of automated sensor like the commonly known as the thermo-scan are also seen in areas like in airports and in bus terminals. This device can automatically detect and register the body heat of a person. This is very useful for a disease outbreak since most communicable diseases are accompanied by fever. As far as automated technology is concern on health, security, and in business it is also used in sea and air transportation. Ships and airlines have an identification code that is automatically identified in central command computers like the radar where it can register the vessel or the aircraft’s position. This is commonly known as the traffic system and it can prevent collision from other vessel or aircraft. It is also useful in a search and rescue operation since it can register where a vessel or an aircraft is positioned before and after the accident.

Automated systems are not only found in outdoors but it can also be seen inside our houses. Take the multimedia system as an example. Years back, people were just using those big disk players, but now a day music players are built with different programs and has a memory system. Technology really contributed a lot to our daily lives especially those automated ones. Without it our lives today would be much stressful.
